Intralink Overview Pro/ INTRALINK is a data management system that stores and manages part, assembly, and drawing object files. Pro/INTRALINK keeps track of version level, revision level, relationships, and the user's intent to modify data. The main Pro/ INTRALINK components are: PTC Application Manager - toolbar that launches all applications Pro/WORKSPACE - database area located in your workstation Pro/COMMONSPACE - database area located in the network server Pro/LOCATE - search utility that allows you to find objects in commonspace Workspaces allow you to manage design activities in a local database. It is good practice to create a new workspace whenever you start a new design and to set up multiple workspaces when managing more than one design activity. Commonspace allows you to manage model data within the central storage area. All users access the same commonspace.
